Description

A hearty casserole combining chili and biscuits for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of chili
  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until soft.
  3. In a baking dish, spread the chili evenly on the bottom.
  4. Add the sautéed onions and bell peppers on top of the chili.
  5. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and place pieces evenly over the chili mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the biscuits.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • Use vegetarian chili for a meat-free option.
  • Top with sour cream or jalapeños for extra flavor.
