Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp ground paprika
  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pita bread for serving
  • Fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cayenne, olive oil, yogurt, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are coated well. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  5. Remove chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Slice the chicken thinly and serve in pita bread with fresh vegetables and creamy garlic sauce.
