Description

Delicious chicken cooked in a creamy asiago mushroom sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup asiago cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
  3. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add garlic and mushrooms to the same skillet, sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add asiago cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, reduce the cream for a few minutes.
  • Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
  • Substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood variation.
