Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Grease a cast iron skillet with olive oil.
- Spread the dough in the skillet, pressing it to the edges.
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough.
- Add mozzarella cheese and your choice of toppings.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can use store-bought pizza dough for convenience.
- Experiment with different sauces and cheeses.
- Make sure the skillet is hot before adding the dough for a crispier crust.
