Description

A rich and flavorful dish combining shrimp, crab, and macaroni in a creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  3. Add crab meat, cream, and Cajun seasoning to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Add cooked macaroni and cheeses to the skillet. Mix until combined and creamy.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cheese and cream.
