Description

Delicious butterscotch toffee cookie bars that are chewy and rich in flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the butterscotch chips and toffee bits.
  7. Spread the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
