Description
A twist on classic Rice Krispie treats with brown butter and dulce de leche for added flavor.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Add the mini marshmallows and dulce de leche, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the salt.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until evenly coated.
- Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
- Can substitute regular caramel for dulce de leche if desired.
