Blue Christmas Truffles

Description

Delicious chocolate truffles with a festive blue coating.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup blue candy melts
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering.
  2. Remove from heat and add chopped dark chocolate.
  3. Stir until smooth, then mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Refrigerate mixture for 2 hours until firm.
  5. Scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
  6. Melt blue candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted candy and place on parchment paper.
  8. Sprinkle crushed peppermint on top before the coating sets.
  9. Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

  • Store truffles in an airtight container.
