Description

A simple and delicious baked egg dish layered with flaky pastry and rich cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into circles.
  3. Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spoon ricotta cheese onto the center of each pastry circle.
  5. Crack an egg on top of the ricotta.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper over the eggs.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the eggs are set and the pastry is golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh chives before serving.
