Description

Baked blueberry donuts are a delicious treat made with fresh blueberries and a light batter.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Transfer the batter to a greased donut pan.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before removing from the pan.
