Healthy and delicious baked banana oatmeal bars for a quick snack.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add the oats, milk, honey, peanut butter, vanilla, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture into it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These bars freeze well for longer storage.
- Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
