Description

A delicious and moist apple dapple cake filled with chunks of fresh apples and topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, blend the sugars, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the diced apples and walnuts if using.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
