A delicious strawberry cream layer cake perfect for celebrations.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
- Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Layer the cakes with whipped cream and sliced strawberries in between.
- Frost the top and sides with remaining whipped cream and decorate with strawberries.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for better flavor.
- Chill the heavy cream for better whipping.
- Store in the refrigerator if not served immediately.
