- 4 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, and flour.
- Sprinkle the pecan mixture over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
