- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Fresh basil leaves – for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker and add the halved cherry tomatoes on top, followed by the fresh mozzarella.
- Pour the basil pesto over the chicken and tomatoes, ensuring everything is covered evenly.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
