- 2 slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Sauté onion and bell pepper until soft.
- Add garlic, diced tomatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Make two wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each well.
- Cover and cook until the eggs are set.
- Toast the bread.
- Serve the shakshouka over the toast and garnish with parsley.
