Description

Delicious individual cakes with a molten chocolate center and a hint of pistachio.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
  3. Melt butter and chocolate chips together in a double boiler.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thick.
  5. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  6. Fold in flour and crushed pistachios.
  7. Pour the batter into prepared ramekins.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
  9. Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
