Description

A creamy pasta dish featuring five types of cheese baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup fontina cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, provolone, and fontina cheeses.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can add cooked ground meat for extra protein.
  • Substitute any cheese according to your taste.
  • This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
