Description
A refreshing dessert made with limoncello and mascarpone cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup limoncello
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the limoncello and lemon zest.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing from the pan.
- Top with mascarpone cheese and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be served with fresh berries.
