Description

A simple and hearty ground beef and potatoes casserole.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion until the beef is cooked through.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
  4. Spread the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Add the remaining potatoes on top.
  6. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk, then pour it over the layered ingredients.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden.
