Description
A simple and hearty ground beef and potatoes casserole.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion until the beef is cooked through.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Add the remaining potatoes on top.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk, then pour it over the layered ingredients.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra nutrition.
