A delicious Garlic Butter Steak & Cheddar Potato Bake that combines tender steak with cheesy potatoes for a hearty meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb steak
- 4 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the steak and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter over them.
- Slice the steak and place it on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the steak and potatoes.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Make sure to let the steak rest before slicing to retain juices.
- You can add herbs for extra flavor.
