Description

A delicious Garlic Butter Steak & Cheddar Potato Bake that combines tender steak with cheesy potatoes for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak
  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the steak and let it rest.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter over them.
  7. Slice the steak and place it on top of the potatoes.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the steak and potatoes.
  9. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.

  • Make sure to let the steak rest before slicing to retain juices.
