- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, breadcrumbs, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into small, round meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet or plate as you go.
- Set your crockpot to low heat while you prepare the meatballs.
- Once all the meatballs are formed, place them gently into the crockpot. Make sure they are arranged in a single layer if possible. Cover the crockpot with the lid.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, warm them in the microwave or on the stovetop.
- For freezing, place meatballs in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
