A simple and delicious crockpot recipe for cheesy chicken and rice.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of uncooked rice
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the rice on top of the chicken.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken and rice.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese before serving.
Notes
- Can substitute brown rice for white rice, but cooking time may vary.
- Add vegetables like peas or broccoli for extra nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
