Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 to 3 pounds of beef brisket
  • 1 cup of BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 small slider buns
  • 2 cups of coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket generously with salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. Sauté the diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  4. Place the seasoned brisket in the crockpot and pour the sautéed onion and garlic mixture over it, followed by the BBQ sauce mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours until tender.
  6. Remove the brisket, shred it with two forks, and return it to the crockpot to combine with the sauce.
