Description

Delicious Christmas Gingerbread Truffles are a festive treat made with gingerbread flavors and a creamy filling, perfect for holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the crushed gingerbread cookies and cream cheese.
  2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix until smooth.
  3. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the balls for 15 minutes.
  6. Dip each ball in melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle with decorations before the chocolate sets.
  8. Chill again until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
