Description

A delicious chocolate mint poke cake that combines rich chocolate cake with a refreshing mint layer.


Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup mint chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed mint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes all over the top of the cake using a fork.
  7. In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup.
  8. Pour the mixture over the cake, filling the holes.
  9. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  10. Top with whipped topping, mint chocolate chips, and crushed mint candies.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, add mint extract to the whipped topping.
  • Use dark chocolate cake mix for a richer taste.
