Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, cooking until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, carrots, and celery.
  4. Add basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
