- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, salt, and almond extract.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the egg whites into the almond mixture gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can substitute almond extract with vanilla extract for a different flavor.
- Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for better volume.
