Description

A light and chewy cookie made with almond flour and flavored with almond extract.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, salt, and almond extract.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the egg whites into the almond mixture gently.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of each cookie.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • You can substitute almond extract with vanilla extract for a different flavor.
