- 12 mini onions
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Soak the mini onions in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Remove onions from buttermilk and coat them in the flour mixture.
- Dip the coated onions back into the buttermilk.
- Roll the onions in breadcrumbs until well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the onions in the air fryer basket and spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
